Although this coin's mintmark is less clear when scanned than the one above, it is very clear on the coin in hand and can in no way be confused with the more common zigzag, D or L. The fact that I now have an ASISM (RIC 377) and an BSISM (this one) is confirmation that this mintmark did exist.
