CAT Puma downhill bike491 viewsThis is the CAT Puma downhill bike which Rudi built as a very small series. As far as I can remember only about 6 or 7 were built. We still have one and our son-in-law has one.
It had specially modified CAT front forks and CAT three spoke wheels. The bike, which had 10cm suspension length front and rear (almost unheard of at the time) weighs only 11.9 kg ready-to-go.

This version was used by Scott Europe SA for its downhill team and won the European Championship with it. The Scott riders lovingly (?) called it "The Fire Engine" because of the red and black team colours.dane
